There is a difference between a runway look and an everyday look . Keep in mind when designers send looks down the runway things are overly stylized to attract eyes of a buyer , and to grasp the viewers attention. With that being said , I am going to help some of you ladies and gents get this bright look without looking like a tragic catastrophe. When wearing neons it is very important that you quickly establish weather your neon will be a statement or an accent to your wardrobe. If you choose to go with a bright pant similar to the Jil Sanders item pictured above or skirt by Christopher Kane also pictured above , tone it down with whites and Nude tones . Accessorize to your own discretion . If you take the route of using your neons as an accent , to your wardrobe REMEMBER you still have the ability to look like a walking skittle however, don't be scared to wear colors if you choose something along the lines of an orange platform , like these Brian Atwoods pictured above , try a play on contrast, dark pythons , plums ect. Dont be scared to experiment just don't get too cray cray.

omg I LOVE that skirt. Neons are my fave. Thanks for the tips!
ReplyDeleteI love fashions in neon colours and also love your fashion advice!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt looks beautiful, and I also love the neon fuchsia trousers.
I agree that the brightly coloured items would look wonderful styled with more subdued but contrasting and complementary pieces!
